Children's Magazine

An international children's magazine, children submit, edit, and receive it. Both digital and printed. Young contributors send in paintings, stories, comics, and other creative work; a children's editorial board helps shape each issue. A stage of their own, as makers, editors, and audience.

Children's Book Programme

A planned children's book subscription initiative, to launch after ANBI approval. Once approved, the foundation will fund book subscriptions for children worldwide, curated, age-appropriate monthly packages for children from families with limited access to books, working with bookstore and community partners that select and deliver titles on the ground.

One of Dorna's literature initiatives, a magazine of essays, translations, and creative writing from established and emerging contributors from the Persian-speaking world and its diaspora. In print and digital. Helps the foundation make thoughtful writing more visible, across borders and across generations of readers.

Unedited, Birth Stories

04·Literature Initiative

Unedited, Birth Stories

An open archive of birth experiences, joyful, painful, ordinary, complicated, all of it, told in mothers' own words, in any language. Run in partnership with Rhea Mothers Alliance Foundation, a Canadian non-profit supporting mothers. Birth Stories is the first edition of Unedited, Dorna's planned series of collective archives for voices that are usually edited out.

05·Art Donation Programme

Art for Dorna

An artist-led donation pipeline run with Doost Art Gallery in Amsterdam. An artist donates a piece to the gallery, marking it for the Dorna programme. The gallery exhibits and sells the work, and the entire sale price funds the foundation's literature, art, and community initiatives.
